This Week's GC Top Ten List - Bidding Ends Sunday, September 5th, 2021

Ian Russell on Thu, Sep 02, 2021 10:02:18 PM

1885 $20 PCGS Proof-66+ DCAM CAC, Goldenboy Registry Set of Morgan Dollars...

Welcome to this week's Top Ten List from GreatCollections, although just before we focus on the highlights of this week, we must thank everyone who participated in our auctions last Sunday, setting a new company record of value of coins sold, as well as for a single coin (over $2 million for the 1893-S Morgan Dollar).

This week features another diverse group of coins - the property of over 200 different consignors.  The highlight is the 1885 Liberty Gold Double Eagle PCGS Proof-66+ DCAM CAC, which is a showstopper of a coin.  The quality is simply amazing, and is the finest PCGS example with CAC approval.

We're also offering part one of the Goldenboy NGC Registry Set of Morgan Dollars, as well as some rare banknotes.

And although these ten auctions might be perfect for what you're looking for, please be aware that this is only a tiny percentage of the whole auction.  Each week, GreatCollections auctions over 4,000 certified coins and banknotes!  So, if you don't see anything of interest below, be sure to browse our categories or view all upcoming auctions.

Happy collecting!

- Ian
