The Coldwater Creek Everyman Registry Set at GreatCollections
Ian Russell on Wed, Mar 14, 2018 05:58:50 AM
We are pleased to announce that GreatCollections will be auctioning the Coldwater Creek Collection of PCGS AU-58 and PCGS AU-58+ Type Coins on Sunday, April 1st.

The collection is currently ranked #2 on the PCGS Set Registry and is the 3rd all-time finest for the category of Everyman Complete U.S. Type Coins 1792-1964.

The Everyman PCGS Set Registry category was established in 2009 for the finest AU coins available.  PCGS AU-58 and particularly PCGS AU-58+ graded coins are highly sought after for inclusion in the sets, since many are rare in this condition/grade.

Ian Russell, Owner/Founder of GreatCollections said: "Many of the coins in this top Registry Set are highly sought after in this grade and rarely appear on the market.  Apart from collectors of Everyman sets, we expect spirited bidding from other areas of the market on coins such as the rare 1795 Plain Edge Cent, 1806 Half Dollar, 1843-D Quarter Eagle and 1861 Three-Dollar Gold Piece.  The quality of this collection is far above average, with many of the coins borderline Mint State exhibiting almost imperceptible wear."

In total, there are 90 coins in the collection with over 40% approved by CAC.  All are being sold unreserved with bidding to start at $1.  Bid now through Sunday, April 1st at www.greatcollections.com.

The collection will be displayed at the Baltimore Coin & Collectibles Expo at the GreatCollections booth (#349) and also by appointment at the GreatCollections headquarters in Irvine, California.
