Coin Catalogs and Reference Books

We are often asked what reference books we recommend for new collectors.

For U.S. coins, we recommend the official Red Book, a guide book of United States Coins by R.S. Yeoman.  It's published by Whitman and is currently in it's 65th edition.

This book is useful for beginners as well as advanced collectors and dealers.  It's in full color and the 65th edition is 420 pages.

We carry the spiral and hardcover editions (I recommend the cheaper spiral if you like the book to lay flat on your desk, it's the one I use almost daily).
