$4 Rare Gold Coin at GreatCollectionsIan Russell on Fri, Jan 04, 2013 08:53:21 AM We're pleased to be auctioning a U.S. rarity...the $4 Stella graded PCGS Proof-64 CAMEO and verified by CAC. The coin is being sold unreserved - bidding started at $1 last week and as of this morning, the current bid is $139,000. (We were lucky enough to sell a PCGS Proof-65 CAMEO example in November for $192,000, setting the record for the highest price for a single coin sale at GreatCollections).
